Being upfront about how we're paid. We may receive commission or referral fees from providers when you proceed following an introduction.
Plemmo offers its introduction and referral service to you at no direct charge. We typically earn money through commission or referral fees paid to us by providers when a business we introduce takes out a product or service with them. This is how we can offer our comparison and introduction service free of charge.
The amount or rate of commission varies depending on the provider, the product or service, and the value or term of the agreement. Commission may be a one-off payment, an ongoing share, or a fixed referral fee. In some cases providers may offer different commission levels for different products.
We aim to introduce you to providers and products that are suitable for your needs. Where we work with more than one provider, we will not let the level of commission available determine the introduction we make in a way that is not in your interests.
You can ask us at any time whether we will receive commission in relation to a specific introduction, and we will tell you. For some products the provider will also disclose any commission to you directly in their own documentation before you enter into an agreement.
For business funding introductions, Plemmo is an introducer, not a lender, and is not FCA authorised. We may receive commission from lenders or finance providers. Funding is subject to status, eligibility, affordability checks, lender approval and provider terms.
